To be honest, when I started this course, I was a bit nervous about the group project. I work in groups constantly at work and lead teams for assignments but it’s different when you work with a team that you did not select. You don’t know everyone’s skill sets going into it and you don’t know their level of commitment to the project. I was very lucky to work with an amazing group for our assignment and because of that, I will be more open to group assignments in the future. I typically try to be the task leader in my professional work groups but in this setting, I took on a different and more supportive role but felt just as committed and fulfilled by the end.
